Aracan made our days in Luxor even better

The location of the hotel it’s perfect! The view of the balcony it’s perfect and for sure was one of the top points of the trip. The hotel team were really nice and they pay attention in the details to make our days even better. The breakfast was really good also.

The shower wasn’t so good and also the Wi-Fi sometimes had instability in the Wi-Fi

Great hotel accommodation let down hugely by the wifi signal.

Brilliant gym staff. Good location. Decent gym. Decent breakfast!

Wifi wasn't just bad… it was horrendous. The only thing that could’ve made it better in my opinion. We were given multiple different networks to join and they were all bad.

Wonderful

Extensive range of breakfast options (buffet) with western and local specialties. Quality very good. Rooms were exactly what we asked for … adjoining twin and double. Large clean comfortable with balconies overlooking the Nile Pool area was great, kids loved it. Nice seating and sunbeds with complimentary towels. Staff overall were very good and friendly, and helped us with an airline related problem (thanks Gigi and Aly)

Shower head blocked and tv remote not working but overall our experience was VERY good and we would go back again and recommend it to friends.

Great room in a well situated hotel with a view to get you into the mood before your cruise !

Nice hotel right in the thick of Luxor's historic area and beside the cruise docks. We booked this on our way into the cruise. Booked the big suite at the front of the hotel which has an amazing view over the Nile and is very spacious. Highly recommend this room.

All was good here - no complaints !

All good, except over charge for friends visiting me for a drink at the lobby , charging 200 pounds each person if you are not a guess it’s too much,

Great position and had a pool. The restaurant did large portions and we're tasty

This hotel seemed like it was getting faded on places. The staff were not as friendly or helpful as the other hotels we stayed in in Egypt. Waiting a while to get the order taken in the restaurant, noone to hand out the towels at the pool etc. Had a price given to book a taxi.. when we went to book the guy who was at the desk tried to double it when it was already a top price . . No one helped on the morning when the taxi wasn't there..

Spacious, decorated and fair AC. Pool. Location reasonable, can walk to Luxor temple. Overall, really good value for money (25$ per night)

The view of the Nile and the mountain was beautiful, especially at night!

The water for a shower was warm but not as hot as I like it. Otherwise everything was great! I didn’t let the hotel know about the hot water.

Hotel is lovely and food is good.

Hotel is lovely and food is good. Some of the soft furnishings need replacing; loads of plugs seem to be coming out of the walls.

Not a hotel issue per se, but I booked a taxi with the hotel to Luxor Airport and was not told that arriving more than 2 hours before my flight's scheduled departure time would mean I had to wait outside in the 40 degree heat until it was exactly two hours before my flight! Ended up waiting two hours in the open air car park coffee shop as a result! Looking at trip advisor this is standard practice now for Luxor Airport but would've been useful to have been told this before booking the taxi. (I also told them my departure time when booking)

Fantastic

Amazing hotel in Luxor! Everything was better than expected. We were early (9am) but were allowed to go up to the room already. The bed was insanely comfortable and the room spacious with a good view of the Nile river from our little balcony. No noise pollution from outside and enough room to store all our luggage + a small storage box for valuables. The breakfast buffet was huge and offered a wide variety of food, both Egyptian and Western. The hotel pool was big, clean and had a nice space to lounge on the sun beds. Yes there is only wifi in the lobby but for 10 Egyptian pounds a day you can have wifi in the room as well. Luxor temple is very close and we walked everywhere, even to Karnak Temple (about 30 minutes). There's no need to take a taxi or a carriage if you like walking. The local ferry to cross the river is a 5min walk and only costs 5EGP. We loved this hotel and were sad to leave.

The bathroom could've been cleaner. The tour guide company is super expensive. I don't recommend booking with them. We wanted a taxi to go to the train station and it would have cost us 250 EGP, but a taxi outside was only 40. The guards outside were happy to help us and we ended up saving a lot of money this way.

- the calèche guides waiting just at the exit of the hotel for every single tourist to literally harass him until he accepts their services. I never spent so much time in a hotel until now, only because I was annoyed Everytime leaving the hotel. I know these "guides" are not part of the hotel personnel, but the hotel knows and should do something about it

superb holiday as always at the Eatabe

new owners and they are getting stuck into the hotel renovations. the staff are superb very helpful and friendly Aly as ever was brilliant he has his finger on the pulse for the guests. The wifi is still not great but they do have it in the rooms now for a very very small fee. I would be happy to pay more if they improved it but its good enough to check social media and emails so i was ok. my room was superb overlooking the nile very clean and modern housekeeper was superb I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay if you are in Luxor

I like the fact that they let me do the early check in and didn't charge me an additional cost, it was really helpful for me, thanks for that, the location is really nice and the bed is really comfort, the view also nice, you can enjoy your terrace with a river nile view

There's no hot water in the bathroom, it's a shame, the staff in receptionist also don't speak english really well, and it was my first time since forever staying in the high class hotel but they still charged me money for the wifi, in addition, despite you paid for the wifi, the connection isn't good, one more thing, they cooperate with agent travel called blue heaven in the hotel, try to avoid them, they lied to me regarding the location of the train station, they said it's really far from the hotel so i should take a taxi that they provide to go there, i paid for it, and after i arrived, i noticed it's not that far, only 20 minutes by walk from the hotel, they just want to make a money, and don't really care about the tourist, the guy who standby at their stand also don't understand english
